Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic To Come Out As Physical Disc

Star Wars KOTOR coverWith $20 bucks, the force can be strong with you.It seems like Lucas Arts has begun to kick the tires on the original Bioware hit, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, by making it, and its sequel, available as a re-release on PC .

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is a critical success game. Known as Bioware’s first big hit, it featured an aspiring Force attunement system, which allowed you to make conversation decisions that could make you more Light side or Dark side depending of your choice. This is also one of the first games to make you feel like you could be a jedi. KOTOR II was made by Obsidian. It cribbed a lot from the first game, but it had its own flaws.

Jedi's fight from KotoRMaking the discs available again is a good move. This makes it possible for people who can’t download the games due to internet issues able to get the games. Although it’s ten dollars for games that rang from ten years to eight years old respectively, it is definitely worth it.

I’m more worried if they fixed it for modern PCs. Playing the Steam version forces you to use a 4:3 ratio and nothing higher than 1024×768. Hopefully, they cribbed some patches from the community and got it working right.

Or I could just go get my discs right now and reinstall them. WIN!

hopefully they fx the issue the game had with windows newer than xp. 1024×768 in vista, no higher. same with 7. but in xp, i can go up to 1600×1200. terrible little issue there. if they fixed it up, upgraded the graphics, released it for windows 7, id buy it. also, i never played kotor 2, nice way to experience it.
