The Army Firefighters from our FOUR HORSEMEN care package have shown up the Air Force Firefighters from CROSSED IRONS (Go ARMY!). For those of you keeping track, the Air Force Fire Fighters stationed in Kabul got their package and never sent even the slightest hint of a “thanks” back our way, where Tyler and his crew immediately sent back pics of him and his guys holding up various pieces of our care package…including apparently a BIG fan of coffee holding up the three packs of Ranger Coffee we sent out.
Well, enough of my jib jab, take a look at what Tyler sent back to us:
We got your package here yesterday! The amount of stuff you guys packed into that box was amazing, it was literally Christmas in July over here in the ‘Stan’. Totally mind blown, that would be about the best description for us right now. All of you at OSD have made the impossible possible and for that we are so thankful. Look for each of us to contribute personally to OSD after our demob back stateside, you are doing great things at Operation Supply Drop!
We got some pictures of the main gamers here and an avid coffee fan who was super excited about the Ranger Coffee. We will continue to update you with pictures of us putting the games to use as time goes on!
Thanks again so much & God Bless,
From all of us in the XXXX XXX XXXX
As long as we’ve got boots on the ground overseas, we will continue to push out care packages to the fighting men and women of the armed forces. Our next care package is our special team up effort with the good folks from Epic Games and our Gears of War themed (dare I say “sponsored”?) care package CRIMSON OMEN. We’ve got some pretty big news on the horizon about CRIMSON OMEN for our gamernight/charity raffle. We’ll wait until tomorrow to announce it, stay tuned (psst, it’s BIG).
