If you’re like us here at Front Towards Gamer, then you are super excited not only for Assassin’s Creed III, but also for the PS Vita tie-in game Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation. Also like us, you are probably really curious about how Liberation ties in with the main entry in the series and how the story itself plays out, both with Assassin’s Creed III and on its own. Well, you are in for a treat, as Ubisoft has released a trailer detailing just what our female assassins is up against, why she takes on the task of dealing out an assassin’s kind of justice, and just what tricks and treats are at her disposal.
Aveline, the protagonist of Liberation, is an assassin with a mix of both French and African heritages who takes it upon herself to right the wrongs of the pre-United States America streets, from New Orleans to New York, from swamps to Mayan Ruins. Slavers mistreating their slaves, Spanish soldiers occupying and wreaking havoc in the streets, Liberation‘s heroin cares not and will use all of the tactics of an assassin we’ve seen up to this point to bring justice to all.
However, Aveline has more than silent and deadly means to extract justice on the evil. She can use the “guise of a lady” to lure men to their doom, the veil of a slave to stay hidden in plain site, and the skills of an assassin and the mechanics of the PS Vita to pull off several instant kills in a matter of seconds.
Her story will not only have her alone in her journey, but Liberation will also put you side by side with Conner as you fight for similar means. It all starts on October 30 for the PS Vita. Enjoy the story trailer below.
