The Walking Dead

Oh boy, you people excited for this? Well, we’ve got even better news about the series. The next season of the Walking Dead game shoots for Fall of 2013, not 2014 as originally posted, due to a misconception in an interview. A Telltale rep, from IGN, had this to clear the air.

The current estimated release window for Season Two of The Walking Dead is for Fall of ‘this’ year (2013), and not ‘next’ year (2014) as has been reported after a recent interview. We apologize for any confusion and thank you and all of our fans for your continued excitement for the series!

After The Walking Dead game furthered their award domination by winning “Best Story” in the BAFTA game awards, CEO of Telltale, Dan Connors, stated to expect the next season of the Walking Dead sometime in the fall of 2014.

We’re aiming for fall next year…We’ll probably have something to announce fairly soon about what we’re going to do. It’ll be different.

This is just another series of teases, hints, and slips by Telltale, deliberately or inadvertently hyping up the next entry in their version of zombie infested Georgia. Conners also added a possible PlayStation 4 support, but it remains up in the air for them, despite loving what Sony had to show for.

Gee I don’t know… I would think so, though, but it’s all going to depend on timing I guess. But we don’t have enough information them [Sony] to announce it or anything…I love that they’re [Sony] going to invest in the connected experience. I think there’s a lot of room for us to grow there and take advantage of that and create new experiences with the stats and the shared experiences.
