Sonic Lost World revs things up with a new trailer with a focus on multiplayer. Specifically for the Wii U, Co-op takes another page out of the Super Mario Galaxy series with a partner aiding the hero. Instead of another player clumsily tagging along, Tails pilots a UFO-like craft and makes navigating the environment for Sonic easier. Dropping bombs on enemies, forming platforms, and other helpful touches Tails presents.
Also, a competitive mode is in place for two-player races as palette-swap Sonics, one on the gamepad and the other on an unspecified controller on the TV.
Sonic Lost World releases this Holiday for the Wii U and 3DS.
