Xbox Live

Praise Microsoft, they’ve finally done away with their pointless currency into actual money! Before, for every 80 Microsoft Points you had, it counted as a dollar. Now, that conversion has been thrown out the window. Just like on PlayStation Network, the conversion is now just plain money. Microsoft announced the real money switch during E3 this year.

Reasons for this switch most likely have to do with the impending launch of Microsoft’s next money-making machine, Xbox One. With a unified currency between all of Microsoft’s hardware and software, it’ll alleviate a lot of headaches between them. Just like a PlayStation Network account, that account goes through multiple devices. Hopefully they stick with some of these more needed changes for the future of Xbox Live.
